Gospel singer and the 3rd runner up at the maiden edition of the West African Idol, Eric Arubayi, is dead. He reportedly died on Saturday 11/02/2017 at the Delta State University Teaching Hospital. Eric died after a brief illness, he is said to have fallen sick earlier in the week and rushed to the hospital. Efforts to get an official statement from his family proved abortive.
