Everything is fine between us. But there is no way we are getting back together because it is in the past and he has moved on,” she said. Ibrahim said she is currently open to love again, stating that she does not have any criteria when it comes to her dream man. “Of course I am open to love. I don’t really look out for anything in a man because I believe if the right person is there, God would definitely bring him my way and I would just feel it. I would just know.  I don’t have a list of quality a man must possess. It also has

According to reports, Bishop David Oyedepo in a telecast to a pre-Shiloh 2016 Convention gathering of his church urged those criticizing the school fees charged by Covenant University to desist to avoid incurring the wrath of God. He told them the story of one critic who had developed a strange plague of chronic mouth odour over the act the person only received a spiritual solution following his confession and “my intervention before he was restored to dignity”. Bishop Oyedepo stated that the issue of school fees paid by students of the university was a godly agenda to meet the demands of raising godly children in an environment conducive for learning. He said such criticisms were products of ignorance as what students pay could not be compared with what obtained elsewhere that lacked facilities. According to him, “The school fees has Gods approval and is in accordance with the quality of facilities provided by the university in meeting the educational needs of the nation.” S

Image
Nollywood actress and mother of three, Mercy Johnson Okojie in this recent chat with Saturday beats has revealed some producers did not give her movie roles because of her complexion. She said that when she started out in the Nigerian movie industry, most movie directors and producers always preferred to cast fair-skinned ladies at the expense of talented but dark-skinned ones. “It is very true that when I was starting out in the movie industry, it was difficult to get roles because of my complexion. I faced that a lot and I tell people that my success is just grace. Somebody once told me that I am too dark but that is where the grace and favour of God comes in. Regardless of everything, most of the dark-skinned actresses that are my contemporaries made it,” she said. The actress also told Saturday Beats that it would be unfair of anyone to say she features in any movie without any consideration. “It is not true that I pick just any movie role. People are different and wha

PLACE VALUE ON YOURSELF

Value has been defined by the popular Advanced Learner's Oxford English dictionary as " how much something is worth in money or other goods for which it can be exchanged", Arcus dictionary defines it as "regard highly; think much of". You know most people don't understand their self worth, that's one problem facing people in the world today, when you do not realize your self worth it brings about low self esteem. Truth is, if you do not love and value yourself, you cannot love and value someone else Self esteem, as defined by standard measures is how we feel about ourselves based mostly on comparison to others. To value yourself is more behavioral than emotional. Placing value on yourself goes beyond knowing your importance, it also entails appreciating the qualities you have. A good way to place value on yourself is TO STOP MAKING YOURSELF WORTH CONDITIONAL ON OTHER PEOPLE... To be continued...

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY NIGERIA!!!

Hurray! Nigeria celebrates 56 years of Independence, how time flies just like yesterday we gained independence, lol, like I was born then.. Here is a speech by the President of the federal republic of Nigeria: Today – 1st October is a day of celebration for us Nigerians. On this day, 56 years ago our people achieved the most important of all human desires – freedom and independence. We should all therefore give thanks and pray for our founding fathers without whose efforts and toil we would not reap the bounties of today. 2. For some It means not being able to pay school fees, for others it’s not being able to afford the high cost of food (rice and millet) or the high cost of local or international travel, and for many of our young people the recession means joblessness, sometimes after graduating from university or polytechnic. 3. I know how difficult thin
