WHAT YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT CHEATING (2)

Hi guys, here is the conclusion from our last episode on some facts we didn't know about cheating. Overtime, study has shown that men with deep voices are perceived as cheaters lol, personally, I crush on guys with deep voices. I once read in an Evolutionary psychology published journal that men with deep voices are most likely to cheat on their partners and women with high pitch voice are most likely to be unfaithful. This balls down to the hormones - the more testosterone a man has, the lower his voice and the more estrogen a woman has, the higher her voice is likely to be.

Over the years cheating has been confusing. A lot of people don't really know what is termed as cheating. Even researchers and clinicians cant even pin-point the behavioral pattern that constitute infidelity, its not until a partner has sex with another outside his relationship or marriage that we term as cheating. I carried out a survey sometime ago among a group of married and singles, their answers amazed me. An overwhelming majority of them answered "If he/she kissed someone else" thats their own point of view of infidelity.

Cheating can also be emotional and psychological ; flirting with an ex on social network is another easy and fastest means of growing and developing infidelity. Ask me how? A man cheating with his ex doesn't necessarily mean he isn't happy with his present relationship. He is just trying to catch a bit of his old flame back...

Study has shown that most men don't need a reason to cheat, a clinical psychologist Dr Joyce Hamilton once told Author Lynn Noment

 I compare male infidelity to a man walking into a kitchen and seeing a chocolate cake sitting on the counter. It looks good; it smells good. He is not hungry but he will eat the cake anyway.

Cheating is a two way affair, one party must initiate for the other party to consent. The above quote explains that men sometimes cheat when they see a woman who is attractive and interested and even though there is nothing lacking in their marital relationships, they initiate the affairs anyway. Dr Joyce is not explaining the character of all men, this is just a simple generalization as to what apply sometimes.

On the aspect of women, Dr Joyce explains that women usually cheat when the marriage is not fulfilling and is already in trouble. They cheat because they feel neglected and their husbands have been unfaithful. Women are most likely to cheat for emotional satisfaction...
