WHEN OPPORTUNITY MEETS PLANNING...
"Good fortune is what happens when opportunity meets with planning."-Thomas Edison
As we know, opportunities cannot be foreseen so it is wise to be prepared to open a door of opportunity that meets our expectations. Most people are guilty of sitting back and waiting for an opportunity to knock at their door, the above quote explains that things can either be planned or left to randomness. Opportunities don't just spring up without preparedness...
Abraham Lincoln once said "I will prepare and someday my chance will come"As humans, we live with the hope for a better tomorrow. As long as we live, we keep dreaming, expecting and hoping that things will work out well. We fail to understand that in wanting tomorrow to be better, we have to give our best today.
Success doesn't come to you, you go for it, this happens when 'opportunity means preparation' at the same time your 'opportunity meets with your plans', excellence is yours...
This is like having an exam coming up and you act lackadaisical towards it, when the result comes out and you fail woefully, would you be surprised? obviously NO!. You can't expect a miracle to happen in that situation or manna to fall from HEAVEN.
This simple illustration explains it- Exam (OPPORTUNITY) : Studying ( PREPARATION) + Targets (PLANNING) = Results (SUCCESS)
"Preparation for an unforeseen opportunity leads to proper maximization of a given opportunity."-Mimi Alexx
Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well...preparation and planning helps you to grow and develop in whatever you do, be it career wise or personal life. No one ever got rich or successful without having a suitable plan for their lives
You have to learn to create the life you want but not forgetting in line with God's purpose for you, this will be a topic for another day. By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail... Preparation is key into achieving good results.
Agreed. To succeed you have to plan and to plan you have to prepare. Nice.
